Materials: Two channel video and rocking chairs
Description:
5kms of Water consists of a 2 channel video work. One channel operates on a 3minute loop and the other is a continuos underwater video shot over the 5kms between Botany Bay and Earlwood. The images are all underwater scenes accompanied by audio. The viewers sit in rocking chairs to watch the work. The images presented for exhibition were gathered in a rowboat on the Cooks River. They are a part of a site specific body of work that explores this urban waterway.
