Materials: Two channel video and rocking chairs
Description:
Cooks River 1 consists of a 2 channel video work that operates on a 3minute loop. The images are all underwater scenes accompanied by audio. The viewers sit in rocking chairs to watch the work. The images presented for exhibition were gathered in a rowboat on the Cooks River. They are the beginning of a site specific body of work that explores this urban waterway.
