OVERNIGHT SCREENINGS AT FRONTYARD
18TH - 24TH NOVEMBER, EVERY NIGHT FROM 8PM- 6AM
Shot in Sydney’s Cooks River this underwater footage follows the river from Strathfield Golf Club to Botany Bay. The images were projected to the empty streets of Marrickville in Frontyards’ frontyard every night for a week. On the last night, Clare stayed out in her boat on the river and capture the last images in the work.
The title River Dreams references Ian Tyrell’s fantastic book River Dreams. The People and Landscape of the Cooks River and the overnight nature of this event.
Popcorn from 8pm - 9pm on Thursday 21st of November.
