Drawing lines with our bodies on opposite sides of the globe, A river on the other side of the world is a call and response GPS drawing, where the bend walked on the Vltava River in Prague on June 12th (Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design) will be drawn together with a bend of the Cooks River walked on the 1st of July 2019. These paired walks are an opportunity to think about drawing, bodies, water, urban rivers, walking and understanding place.
Walkers in Prague meet early before the city is awake and are given silver casts of detritus- shells, plastic and rust collected along the banks of Sydney’s Cook River.
